Intriguant fétiche Vaudou Vodun du Bénin. Il est composé d'un personnage en bois ayant perdu une jambe. La jambe manquante semble avoir été mangé par des insectes xylophage. L'ensemble possède une présence troublante. Le fétiche capte notre regard et notre attention. Le personnage est vivant. La posture et digne, empreinte de respect et de reverence. Sa fonction est mystérieuse. La patine est ancienne, riche, mélange de diverses offrandes, sang, beurre de karité, alcool, kaolin.... Un objet de culte Vaudou ancien et authentique. Circa 1950.
