Nous proposons à la vente une Jaguar Type E 3.8L Série 1, mise en circulation le 15 septembre 1964, affichant 48 703 km au compteur. Véritable icône de l’automobile des années 60, la Type E est considérée comme l’une des plus belles voitures jamais produites, admirée tant pour son design que pour ses performances.
Cette version Coupé 2 places (Fixed Head Coupé), dans une élégante livrée gris clair métallisé associée à un intérieur en cuir, incarne la pureté des lignes dessinées par Malcolm Sayer et reste l’un des modèles les plus recherchés par les collectionneurs.

CARROSSERIE ET PEINTURE :

La carrosserie se présente dans une livrée gris clair métallisé élégante, fidèle à l’esprit d’origine du modèle. Les lignes iconiques de la Type E, dessinées par Malcolm Sayer, sont intactes et mettent en valeur le style intemporel de ce coupé. L’ensemble de la carrosserie est en très bon état général, témoignant d’un entretien soigné au fil des années.

TECHNIQUE :

Cette Jaguar est équipée d’un moteur 6 cylindres en ligne de 3 800 cm³ développant 269 chevaux, alimenté par trois carburateurs SU HD8. Elle est dotée d’une boîte de vitesses manuelle avec overdrive, et repose sur une architecture à propulsion. Les performances, pour l’époque, sont impressionnantes : une vitesse maximale avoisinant les 240 km/h et un 0 à 100 km/h réalisé en environ 7 secondes. Une révision mécanique complète a été récemment effectuée et le contrôle technique est à jour. Le véhicule est prêt à prendre la route.
