Expressief kruisbeeld in een robuuste neogotische stijl, uitgevoerd in gips met een gepatineerde afwerking.

Christus is weergegeven met een opvallend expressieve gelaatsuitdrukking, de armen gespreid over een kruis met geprononceerde kruiseinden en rijke versieringen in reliëf.

Bovenaan in een banderol is het opschrift “INRI” verwerkt, een acroniem voor “Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum”, wat betekent: Jezus van Nazareth, koning der Joden.

Het beeld is gemaakt uit een enkel stuk gegoten gips, waarin een onopvallende breuk en herstelling is uitgevoerd die loopt over Christus' rug tot in de beide armen. De herstelling is technisch goed uitgevoerd en slechts bij nauwkeurige inspectie merkbaar.

Authentieke staat met uitgesproken patina en lichte gebruikssporen. De eerder vermelde breuk is professioneel hersteld en structureel stabiel. Geen ontbrekende onderdelen.

Voorzien van een lus om het op te hangen.
