A refined and matching pair of silver-plated serving dishes by the esteemed Barker Brothers Silver Company of Birmingham, England. Crafted in the early 20th century, these pieces embody timeless English Art Deco elegance, combining sleek lines with restrained decorative detailing. Each rectangular dish is finely made with a removable domed lid, both pieces adorned with a delicate ribbon-and-reed border and stylized twin handles on each side. The interior of each dish is smooth and mirror-finished, reflecting the exceptional quality typical of Barker Brothers’ craftsmanship.

The hallmark on the underside — a three-leaf clover flanked by the initials EPNS — identifies these as authentic electro-plated nickel silver pieces from Barker Brothers, one of Birmingham’s most respected silverware makers, founded in the 19th century and celebrated for their refined table service items.

This elegant pair can be used for serving vegetables, side dishes, or as striking decorative centerpieces. Their matching design makes them ideal for collectors or for elevating any formal dining setting.

Very good condition for their age. Light surface wear and fine scratches consistent with age and gentle use. The silver plating remains lustrous and well-preserved. No dents or major damage.
