STORIA/PANORAMICA
La Fiat 124 Spider America 1982 rappresenta una delle ultime evoluzioni della celebre spider disegnata da Tom Tjaarda per Pininfarina. Dal 1981 la produzione prosegue sotto il nome di Pininfarina come "Spider America". Destinata agli USA, si distingue per paraurti maggiorati, impianto di iniezione elettronica, interni più rifiniti e una dotazione più ricca.

ESTERNO
La verniciatura esterna è stata professionalmente restaurata alcuni anni fa nel colore Rosso Cherry 136/F ed è in belle condizioni originali con minimi segni d'uso e del tempo. Un trattamento di lucidatura e detailing è stato appena completato e l'auto è ben presentabile. Un test spessimetro non ha evidenziato tracce di incidenti.

Il sottoscocca è molto solido, generalmente ben conservato e senza tracce di incidenti, i vani anteriore e posteriore sono in solide condizioni originali senza tracce di corrosione

INTERNO
Gli interni in gran parte originali sono ben conservati con alcuni minori segni di usura localizzati, sono completi e ben usabili, il cruscotto è completo di tutta la strumentazione originale dell'epoca. Il cruscotto è in belle condizioni, è dotata di copricappotta. La cappotta esterna si apre e chiude agilmente.

MECCANICA
Il motore 2000cc iniezione è originale come da carta di circolazione, funzionante e con soltanto 88,000 miglia. 
L'auto si guida piacevolmente, il cambio e la frizione sono ben funzionanti, tuttavia, l'ultimo controllo tecnico è scaduto nel 2020 e da allora ha percorso pochi chilometri, una manutenzione di controllo generale è suggerita prima del prossimo controllo.

Una Spider che sta diventando sempre più rara perchè apprezzata e ben utilizzabile, nell'iconico colore Rosso.
