Late 19th Century Gilded Brass Candelabrum - Ornate Vine & Floral Motif

This exceptional gilded brass candelabrum from the late 19th century is a richly detailed decorative piece, designed to captivate with its intricate craftsmanship and elegant botanical theme. Perfect for lovers of antique decor, it brings historical charm and sculptural artistry to any setting.

Originating from France and dating back to the late 1800s, this candelabrum showcases finely cast grapevine motifs, complete with bunches of grapes, vine leaves, flowers, and wheatsheaves, all arranged in an exuberant, tree-like formation. The craftsmanship is elaborate, with hand-finished details and a gilded finish that has developed a naturally aged patina over time.

Made from brass with traces of gold gilt, the piece is visually striking and structurally complex. It features 7 candle holders, supported by scrolling branches that extend from a baluster-shaped base with tripod paw feet. Signs of wear, oxidations, and minor deformations are present, consistent with age and previous use.

Dimensions: Height 66 cm (25.98 in), Width 26 cm (10.24 in), Depth 20 cm (7.87 in).
