Bronze doré représentant une scène de chasse avec un chien proche d'une souche sèche où un lièvre est Tapie derrière les oreilles baissés.
La sculpture est coulé en un seul bloc pour la partie terrain, lièvre et souche et présente 2 vide de 11 mm prévue pour déposer des crayons ou autres.
Le chien démontable semble être coulé d'un seul bloc et est fixé par 2 fixations au niveau des pates avant et arrière. Il pèse à lui seul 156 grammes. Une fois fixé, il se marie parfaitement avec le reste de la sculpture qui pèse au total 571 grammes. Un trou fileté en dessous au centre de la sculpture, laisse penser qu'elle peut être fixée sur un support bois ou marbre non fourni.
La couleur dorée de ce bronze fait ressortir la finesse des détails.
La qualité de moulage est parfaitement réussi. Et malgré l'age de ce bronze un petit défaut sur l'embase, n'enlève rien l'admiration de l'oeuvre.
La hauteur de 90 mm x 70 mm de large et de
108 mm de longueur.
L'artiste qui a réalisé la sculpture est anonyme.
