Nichoir pour oiseau en céramique

"Cette série de nichoirs est née d’une envie de changer d’approche, de sortir de mes typologies habituelles pour explorer un objet plus libre, plus décoratif.
J’avais envie de travailler un dessin plus instinctif, en appliquant à une forme nouvelle les matières et les textures que j’aime : le grès roux je l’ai travaillé pour jouer avec l’oxydation et la réduction que fait l’émail en surface en jouant avec des coup de pinceaux aligné et créant un relief entre brillance et mat.
Un projet un peu à part, plus intuitif, né d’un besoin de jouer, d’expérimenter — loin de la fonction quotidienne, mais toujours dans le geste."

À propos de Lucas Huillet:
Formé à l’École Camondo en design et architecture intérieure. Ce parcours académique a ouvert les portes à des collaborations avec des maisons et institutions prestigieuses.
En 2018, il créait son atelier comme un espace d’exploration où se croisent céramique, architecture intérieure et design d’objets autour d’une expertise dans le travail des matières naturelles, permettant de concevoir des pièces uniques, qui sont à la fois des objets du quotidien et des œuvres à part entière.
Aujourd’hui, le studio continue d’allier tradition artisanale et innovation contemporaine, avec pour objectif de créer des objets porteurs de sens et d’authenticité.

Les créations de Lucas Huillet ont été exposées notamment à la Paris Design Week, Collectible à Bruxelles, ou Dubaï Al Shindagha Museum.
