Christian Plat

These iconic silverplated tea-infusion bowls are rare to find. 
These so called ‘tea-eggs’s’ are designed by thé German silversmith and designer Christian Dell (1893-1974). koperen theebol-infuser, ook wel thee-ei genoemd, door de Duitse zilversmid en ontwerper Christian Dell (1893-1974). 
Dell worked at Bauhaus in Weimar in the ‘20, and designed and produced these tea-infusors in 1924.
They are in the permanent collection of designobjects in the MoMa.Aan het begin van de jaren 1920 werkt Christian Dell als voorman van de metaalwerkplaats in het Bauhaus in Weimar. Dit stuk is opgenomen in de permanente collectie van het MoMA.
5 in perfect condition, some fading in the silverplate. 
1 has a small tear in the egg.
