A fine and impressive large set of six Chinese porcelain teacups with matching saucers from the Kangxi period (1662–1722). Each piece is painted in underglaze cobalt blue, with molded and lobed forms that give a refined and decorative appearance.

The interiors of the cups are decorated with a single lady, while the exteriors are richly painted with alternating cartouches showing a lady and a landscape scene. All cups are marked on the base with a four-character Chenghua mark within a double circle.

The saucers are equally well decorated: the front shows two ladies in the central medallion, surrounded by alternating panels of figures and landscapes around the rim. The reverse is beautifully ornamented with ladies in a garden landscape within alternating panels, creating a lotus-like effect. All saucers carry a four-character Chenghua mark within a double circle on the base.

A rare and highly decorative complete set of six molded and lobed Kangxi teacups with their matching saucers, displaying the elegance and refinement of Kangxi blue and white porcelain.

Cups: one in perfect condition; one with a small chip; three with minor rim fritting; one with a hairline.
