Ceoceanu Bogdan - Gluttony

This work presents my representation of the Sin of Gluttony based on Dante Aligheri’s Divine Comedy, more exactly, the Purgatory. It depicts a faceless, distorted figure engulfed by mist and covered and tree branches. The carnation of the character is tense, and painted in layers, which emphasize the feeling of anguish he is in. I am an artist from Romania who finished both Bachelour’s and Master’s programmes at University of arts in Bucharest and i am currently undergoing a PhD in Visual Arts, focused on painting. This work was exhibitied to last year on the National Saloon of Contemporary Art in Bucharest.
