Beautiful belt rosary composed of large rock crystal beads cut and mounted on a gold-plated silver wire, finished with a finely engraved silver cross featuring pattée cross motifs and centered with a relief Christ.

The cross features a pierced and partially gilded decoration at the crossing, symbolizing the Resurrection.

Tested with acid (see photo), confirming solid silver.

Quality work, probably French or Italian, from around 1850–1880.

Very good condition, with an antique patina.
