Claudine Suret-Canale has been drawing and painting animals and nature since her childhood.
At the age of 9, she left with her parents—her father, a historian and geographer, and her mother, a journalist—during 1960-1965.
She discovers the wild African fauna and flora and is fascinated.
Upon returning to France, she began attending the Académie Charpentier in Paris, a preparatory school for the grandes écoles of arts. She is 16 years old.
She has held solo and group exhibitions from 1979 to 2025.
