Mar No. 104 is a contemporary abstract artwork, unique and original, belonging to the Mar series, created by hand with acrylic paint on canvas. Its vertical and stylized format is inspired by the light, colors, and serenity of the Mediterranean Sea.
At the bottom, I worked a blend of shades of different blues, turquoise, and greenish tones that evoke the movement, transparency, and freshness of water. The sky, in soft shades of white and sky blue with touches of light orange, adds clarity and brightness to the composition.
Two horizontal lines in cream and beige tones draw a subtle horizon, balancing the lightness of the sky with the depth of the sea. Each stroke is designed to convey calm, harmony, and the timeless beauty of the essential.

"Mar" No. 104 is an abstract work painted by hand with acrylic on cotton canvas, measuring 120 cm x 40 cm. Directly from my studio. The artwork does not include a stretcher or frame.

Size: The unstretched canvas measures a total of 130 cm x 50 cm x 0.1 cm, with additional margin designed for a frame of approximately 120 cm x 40 cm x 2 cm or to be framed according to your preferences.
Finish and protection: The paint is protected with satin varnish to preserve the intensity of the colors and ensure its durability over time.

Unique and original work: hand-painted and signed by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo, I am a visual artist born in Argentina (1972). I live and create my works in Spain. With over 25 years of experience, I specialized in abstract art, mixed media, and collage. My artistic practice is built as a form of observation and dialogue with everyday life, especially with the urban spaces I inhabit. I work through painting, photography, and other visual languages to explore how the city shapes our emotions, our memories, and our way of being in the world.
