Cosmetically it is in excellent condition overall; very minor signs of use can be found, consistent with careful handling. Everything works perfectly: focusing, shutter speeds, apertures, door mechanism, viewfinder, and plunger. The viewfinder is clean and clear, and the rangefinder patch is sharp and easy to use. The lens is clean, free of fungus, haze, or separation. On this model - just like on the later Vitessa T - the combined release control had to be gently pressed before pulling it out. Only after that would the barn-door front panels open when pressing the plunger. The combined control on this example now requires a bit more finesse when pulling it out. When the button is pressed lightly to a certain point, it stays in place—something that, unlike with earlier models, is also possible with the doors already open. Approximately 6,800 units of this version were produced.
