Bord - Porselein

Description
A fine Chinese porcelain plate from the Kangxi period (1662–1722), painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The center shows a seated monk resting on a rock within a gentle landscape setting. The rim is decorated with flowing panels (cartouches) alternating between floral and landscape motifs.

The plate is lightly contoured and molded, with a clear and balanced composition. The reverse is also decorated and bears a symbol mark within a double circle, typical for refined Kangxi blue and white porcelain.

Condition
In overal very good condition. one little chip of the footrim, all visible in the pictures. no hairlines or restorations.
