CONCEPT
Ik maak sculpturen die de veerkrachtige en transformerende krachten van de snelle moderne wereld weerspiegelen en probeer de tijd te vertragen. Ik gebruik populaire ontwerpen en objecten als een visuele taal om mijn verhaal over te brengen. Rauwe materialen en een gedurfde, industriële stijl nodigen kijkers uit om na te denken over dit concept. Ik moedig het publiek aan om hun eigen interpretaties en verbanden met de stukken te vormen. De fysieke objecten zijn bedoeld om kijkers naar een plek te brengen waar zij hun eigen concepten en perspectief kunnen vormen, hetzij door verbindingen te zien met hun eigen verleden, heden en toekomst, of door simpelweg de esthetiek te waarderen. Deze sculpturen zijn een eerbetoon aan de zeitgeist van de generatie waar ik deel van uitmaak.
