Mount & Compatibility This is a Sony A-mount autofocus lens with a built-in focus motor (SSM/SAM), so it autofocuses on all Sony/Minolta A-mount bodies, including those without an in-body AF motor. On Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras it can be used with autofocus via a Sony LA-EA adapter (the built-in motor works even with the simple LA-EA3, and with LA-EA5 on supported bodies).
