Ardbeg 1999 Galileo - b. 2012 - 70cl
Ardbeg Galileo is a 12-year-old limited edition released to celebrate the distillery’s participation in the first-ever maturation experiment in space. In tribute to this experiment, Ardbeg launched Galileo. Distilled in 1999, this expression features a smooth, smoky texture. At the heart of this special edition is whisky matured in Marsala (Sicilian wine) casks, blended with Ardbeg aged in first- and second-fill Bourbon casks. The Marsala casks impart fruity aromas and a distinct texture to the distillery’s signature peaty, smoky style.
