As a unique bonus, this bellows comes with the original Mamiya RS-58 reverse ring. This allows you to mount classic Mamiya 645 lenses (such as the standard 80mm f/2.8 lens) or any other lens with a 58mm filter thread backward onto the bellows. This is the ultimate technique for extreme macro photography (magnifications greater than 1:1) while maintaining maximum edge-to-edge sharpness.
Features & Specifications:
• Type: Mamiya NC401.
• Compatibility Note: Fully compatible with Mamiya 645AF, AFD I/II/III, and Phase One DF/DF+ bodies. Out of the box, it does NOT fit the Phase One XF body, as the inner ring will interfere with the XF's extra electronic pins. (Some photographers modify/file down the inner ring to make it fit the XF, but any such modification is entirely at the buyer's own risk).
• Data Communication: Features the electronic data coupling pins to retain automatic exposure metering and camera communication on supported bodies.
• Composition: The camera mount can rotate 90 degrees for a quick switch between portrait and landscape orientation.
• Condition: The bellows (the folding cloth) is 100% light-tight and shows no wear, tears, or pinholes. The adjustment rails run perfectly smooth, precise, and without any play.
• Box Condition: The original box is included, though it shows some minor scratches and a small tear due to age.
(Used once for shooting 10 little diamonds and stored back in the box.
