Description from the seller

Beautiful Dutch Renaissance chest.
Grooves in the styles and intarsia work on the panels with blackened wood.
This decoration is more common in Gelderland province.
Little has been restored; only the front parts of both slippers have been chipped.
It is typical Dutch that the high slippers have flat sides.
Align with that slanted foot rule in between.
The same black ornaments can be seen on 17th-century Dutch cabinets.
And they are typical of the Renaissance style.
Beautiful patina

HxWxD 73 x 112 x 60 cm.
