Aangeboden wordt een bijzondere jaarklok van Schatz, gedateerd november 1956. Dit model wijkt af van de klassieke 400‑dagen klokken: in plaats van één jaarlijkse opwinding wordt de aandrijving verzorgd door een spiraalveer die elke vijf minuten automatisch op spanning wordt gebracht via een relaisimpuls. Dit ingenieuze systeem staat bekend als een remontoirmechanisme, een unieke techniek die het traditionele torsiependule combineert met moderne betrouwbaarheid.

De mechanische impulsen worden verzorgd door een 3‑volts batterij, waarmee de klok naar verwachting tot ongeveer drie jaar onafgebroken kan functioneren. Het uurwerk loopt goed en stabiel. 
De messing voet en glazen koepel verkeren in nette staat, met lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd. De wijzerplaat draagt duidelijk het Schatz‑logo, en het torsiependule met drie bolvormige gewichten draait soepel en gelijkmatig.
