Description from the seller

The Navajo (self: Diné) are the second-largest Native American tribe in the USA and mainly inhabit a large reservation in the border area of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. Their name is derived from Spanish, while they refer to themselves as 'the people.' They are known for their complex language, which served as an unbreakable code for secret messages during World War II, as well as for their traditional culture, which focuses on agriculture, livestock (especially sheep), craftsmanship (silver jewelry, weaving), and spirituality.

Offered is a hand-knotted blanket made around 1990 by the Navajo Nation in North America.
The blanket is approximately 98 cm long and approximately 98 cm wide.
