Vintage Aziatische salontafel uit de Hong Kong-periode – Handgesneden massief hout met zwaluwstaartverbindingen

Een stijlvolle en karakteristieke salontafel, vervaardigd tijdens de bloeiperiode van de Britse export uit Hong Kong (circa jaren '60-'70). Dit meubelstuk is een prachtig voorbeeld van Aziatisch vakmanschap dat destijds specifiek werd vervaardigd voor de westerse markt.

De tafel is voorzien van verfijnd, met de hand gesneden houtsnijwerk dat klassieke taferelen uit de Chinese geschiedenis en mythologie weergeeft. Het houtsnijwerk is beschermd door een glazen bovenplaat, wat zowel de esthetiek als de praktische bruikbaarheid ten goede komt.

• Vakmanschap: De tafel is ambachtelijk geconstrueerd. Bijzonder detail zijn de lades die voorzien zijn van kwalitatieve zwaluwstaartverbindingen; een teken van de degelijke constructie die kenmerkend is voor de betere meubels uit deze periode.
• Conditie: De tafel is in goede vintage conditie zeer stevig , met het natuurlijke patina dat past bij de leeftijd en het materiaal.
• Materiaal: Vervaardigd uit massief Aziatisch hardhout (hoogstwaarschijnlijk teakhout).
Afmetingen:
• Totaal: 152 cm (lengte) x 51 cm (diepte) x 46,5 cm (hoogte).
• Laden (binnenmaat): 43 cm (breedte) x 9 cm (hoogte).

Dit meubelstuk combineert een decoratieve oosterse uitstraling met de robuuste kwaliteit van mid-century exportmeubilair. Een prachtig pronkstuk voor in een eclectisch of Aziatisch geïnspireerd interieur.

Door zijn enorme omvang kan deze tafel alleen verstuurd worden met een pallet transport van deur tot deur.
