This unique seating piece is a one of a kind functional sculpture, carved from a single piece of solid hardwood to ensure its monolithic strength and permanent character. The design features a substantial horizontal seat supported by two thick, boulder-like legs, creating a balanced silhouette that emphasizes the natural weight of the timber. It represents a direct dialogue with the material, transformed into a refined architectural object through patient hand work.

The entire form is treated with a deep ebonized finish, giving the wood a matte black tone that unifies the carved surface. The legs feature a textured surface with tool marks, providing a rugged contrast to the level seat. Natural details, such as original knots and fine cracks, are intentionally preserved as honest markers of the material's history, while the ebonizing process highlights the unique grain patterns of the timber.

Built for structural permanence, this piece functions beautifully as a sculptural bench in an entryway, at the foot of a bed, or as statement seating in a minimalist living space. Its bold geometry and handcrafted integrity make it an ideal focal point for interiors that celebrate raw, organic materials.
