Antique armchair – 19th century – richly carved wood and button-tufted upholstery

Elegant and comfortable antique armchair, manufactured in the 19th century. The chair is fitted with a beautifully carved wooden frame, presumably solid walnut or mahogany, with graceful scrolls on the armrests and legs. The backrest is high and deeply button-tufted, which provides both a luxurious appearance and comfortable seating.

The upholstery is in a blue/grey velvet fabric that contrasts nicely with the warm wood. Along the edges there is decorative brass nail trim. The chair is in good used condition, with normal signs of wear and aging appropriate to its age, which contributes to its authentic character.

A particularly decorative and functional piece of furniture, ideal for a classic interior, study, library, or as a statement piece in a more modern setting.
