Description from the seller

Bronze in a gleaming gold color in which Vishnu appears with the mace, the conch, the abhaya mudra, and in the missing hand would hold the discus. The figure, of cosmic type, with very straight legs and proportions that are very well achieved, is similar to those of medieval statues found in Jain and Hindu temples in Rajasthan and Gujarat in the period from the 14th to the 16th century. The bronze shows some wear from the pujas in certain areas, but overall it is in perfect condition except for one hand that has been lost.
