AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Prestigious Oval Mirror made of gilded wood, incised and covered with plaster.
Dramatic, beautiful in appearance and shape, it presents a large profile (9 cm) divided into three main levels.
Stand out the 4 large central domed friezes with stylized leaves, characterized by an incised motif with small vertical and oblique strokes, similar to elongated leaves or simplified palmettes, arranged in a rhythmic sequence.
Next, the handsome smooth intermediate molding, made of a slightly convex band and devoid of decorations, creates a visual pause and enhances the ornamental straps.
The refined dotted/engraved inner band consists of a regular sequence of small oval or “grain-like” elements, incised and slightly recessed, arranged in a virtually continuous line along the inner edge. In some places a subtle reddish tone (bolo) emerges under the gilding, typical of traditional preparation.
The outermost part features a very pleasant inward hollowing that enriches it with depth.

From its harmonious profile, overall serial and regular, this mirror presents extreme elegance and care in the details. The large multi-level convex profile makes it striking and rich in charm.
An "architect of space" that elevates the environment with elegance and poetry.
