The Yamaha PSR-22 is a vintage synthesizer from 1987 with an FM synthesizer and custom drummer. 

One of the cooler Portatones by Yamaha - with Digital Synthesizer (FM synthesis) part with ‘on the fly’ programmable Drums (Custom Drummer), 512 very usable preset sounds by combining the preset sounds with synth sliders, 16 accompaniment styles with different bass and chord sounds, fill in, and synchro start. Cool sounds and 
- 49 full-sized keys (C1-C5)
- Sliders for master volume, Auto Bass Chord Volume, switches for pitch up/down
- Auto Bass Chord or accompaniment patterns with 4 chord and 4 bass sounds, Manual Bass, Fingered and Single Finger mode.
- 16 rhythms met fill-ins
- Very extensive Custom Drummer with 6 different very cool drum sounds: play rhythms by means of the highest 6 white keys and edit on the fly, automatically quantised and looped, very fast and groovy method to make nice beats
- 32 Preset Sounds with Sustain On/Off switch
- FM Synthesizer with 2 sliders: Envelope and Wave (waveform): for each of the 32 preset sound 4x4 = 16 variations, so this synth has 32 x 16 unique and very useful sounds on board in total. Good Bass, Lead, Synthbrass etc. All of these sounds are really particularly good!
