Ford - Corsair Consul - 1964

This 1964 Ford Corsair Consul can be described as a sporty special-looking car. Delivered new in Sweden, and therefore has never encountered brine on the streets. It is wonderfully sporty, however, for the purists, the original steel wheels with hubcaps will be included. It has a cancelled Swedish registration. If required, the car can be delivered with an EU export document free of charge for easy registration of the Ford in the buyer’s country. A nice and complete car with a lot of charisma, yet affordable vintage driving. Parts are widely available. Engine: 4-Cylinder inline engine, 1,498 cc, 77 hp. Coupled to a manual gearbox. The engine needs maintenance, starts fine, accelerates fine, no strange noises, but does produce some smoke, and the thermostat is stuck. A maintenance service is good for any used car, including this mighty Corsair. And when the car is being serviced, one might as well check why the right door opens from the inside but not from the outside. It features lots of fun details such as the special dashboard, the nice interior with the beautiful upholstery and of course its amazing appearance. With such an old car, some work may have to be done. The availability of parts is good, and at very reasonable prices. In short: a very nice vintage car that will only increase in value! The car is in Hengevelde, the Netherlands. The seller can arrange relatively cheap transport throughout Europe, even now during the coronavirus crisis. Worldwide transport is not a problem as this would be done by a professional transport company.
