Mercedes CLK 200 Kompressor from 2003 with a manual six‑speed transmission, petrol engine, 167,179 km, black, 163 hp, German registration, service book available, CoC not present, MOT not valid, located in the Netherlands, W209 coupe, colour code 189 Schmaragd Schwarz Metallic.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and well-running Mercedes CLK 200 Kompressor coupe in Avantgarde version from the year 2003, original 1.8 liter engine with supercharger and six-speed manual gearbox. This 240 is from the W209 series, thus a coupe, extremely comfortable but also fast when needed, with 163 hp.
Body
The car has minor signs of use, which isn’t illogical after 23 years; the car has the original “Schmaragd Schwarz Metallic” color code 189, and the car looks fine, the underside is neat as well, see the photos. This Mercedes is above-average in terms of paint and rust, even on the W209 critical spots such as the fender edges etcetera it is very neat.
Technical
After starting, the SRS light (airbag) stays on, which is not otherwise a MOT rejection point. There are various manuals and documents with the car, and due to the standstill of the last six months, a small service is advisable, in which the brakes and the belt retractor should also be checked. A service is good for any used car, so also for this Mercedes. The front tires are due for replacement.
Interior
The car is equipped with a neat interior, with hardly any signs of use. Both the seats and the rear seat, the neat door panels and carpeting look fine, not perfect. In short, a neat and fully equipped Mercedes.
Documents
The Mercedes was originally delivered new in Germany, and thus has a (de-registered) German registration. This beautiful car can easily be registered elsewhere with the supplied German car papers.
Transport
The car is located in Hengevelde, Netherlands and can of course be picked up here. The car can be delivered within the Netherlands at an additional cost of 150 euros (excluding the Wadden Islands).
Seller can have the car delivered relatively cheaply across the entire EU by a professional transporter.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
