1988 Volkswagen Scirocco GT 16V in very good condition, probably one of the best units currently for sale.

Car with just 2 previous owners, originally sold in Spain. Fully restored recently by experts in the Scirocco model, with hundreds of hours of work and detailing.

Fully disassembled and restored in detail, piece by piece and 100% to its original condition, as when it left the factory, as shown in the photos. With a valid ITV (Spanish vehicle inspection) and documents in order. There are documents and videos of the entire restoration process available. 

Countless parts of the chassis and mechanics are either new or have been replaced with original ones in perfect condition, including 90% of the staples, screws and nuts in the car.

- Chassis: Rust-free, treatment to protect the underbody and engine bay from gravel, two-layer premium paint of the original Alpinweiss L90E white colour.

Cleaning and treatment of the fuel system, hydro-sandblasted front and rear axles and strut bars.

All new vinyl decals and emblems, new protective side rubber, new and original taillights, restored original Volkswagen Montreal alloy rims, new Uniroyal Rain Expert tyres.

All the plastics inside and outside were restored, new door and window rubbers, new and serviced heating system, new bonnet insulation.

- Engine and mechanics: Complete engine maintenance, seals and Valvoline of the gearbox. Mechanical part with a perfect compression, new petrol pumps, filters, belts, timing, oil, antifreeze, alternator, sensors, all the gaskets, complete injection system, new radiator, engine and gearbox oils, new complete gear shifting system, new coolant hoses.

New spark plugs and wires, battery and water pump. Decarbonisation and polishing of intake and cylinder head, new crankcase and rocker cover gaskets. Ignition system, new spark plugs and spark plug wires, transmissions and new homokinetic joints. 

Complete OEM gas suspension, new complete brake system, serviced calipers (rear left one is new), new discs, pads, lines, brake cylinder, servo, wires and fluid. All silentblocks and dust covers are new. New stainless sport exhaust silencer, replica of the original one. New battery. Front and rear bearings, and new suspension wishbones.

- Interior: original Blaupunkt radio, door soundproofing, perfect original upholstery.
