Volkswagen - Combi T2 "NO RESERVE" - 1986

This superb T1 Combi from 1986 can be viewed in Rouen, France. A refurbished T2 Kombi, in 9-seater bus configuration, with sunroof. The chassis serial and engine number stamped on the vehicle match the vehicle registration document. The bus was restored and custom-made in Brazil by a professional garage that has been operating since 2014. The restoration of the sheet metal, paintwork, wiring and upholstery were all done on site by them. The following is a list of the work done: - Paintwork and sheet metal restored, all sheet metal parts in poor condition were replaced with new sheet steel. - Restored chassis and underbody (new cross members). - The front and rear axles + suspensions were reconditioned. - Reconditioned engine, original casing, new carburettor, injection, hoses, air filter as per the original configuration. It should be noted that a carburettor adjustment will be required to suit the local petrol, as the petrol in Brazil has different levels of octane. - Reconditioned gearbox (the gearbox was removed, fully opened and the worn cogwheels were replaced by new ones). - New clutch. - New carpeting and upholstery, with 9 safety belts. - New front and rear chrome plated bumpers. - New electrostatically painted removable roof racks. - Electrical part: All cables were removed and replaced with new ones, damaged bulbs and lights were replaced with new ones. - 4 new tyres + 1 spare tyre. The vehicle will be delivered with the Brazilian registration documents, 846A clearance papers and a purchase invoice, all in the buyer's name to ensure registration in the country of their choice.
