1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint in very good condition.

First series, small headlights. Sheet metal, paint, mechanics, upholstery and interior in excellent condition.  Matching numbers. Suitable to participate in the famous Mille Miglia, and with ASI certification. 

Car of Italian origin, until very recently living in the United Kingdom, where its registration documents are from. The previous owner, a well-known Alfa Romeo dealer, kept this vehicle in his possession for several years, and improved many details of originality to have a car in really good condition. 

He has even searched for years for the original air filter of this first series model, eventually finding it in Australia. Visually, it is the best finished Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, with its original front with thin ‘moustaches’, like the Giulietta Spider, and its rear part with small tail lights, being a pure Bertone’s design at its best.

The beautiful interior stands out for its large glass surfaces and its upholstery like the original one in perfect condition, and in a light grey colour that highlights the luminosity of the interior. The only non-original thing is that, at the time, the gear lever at the steering wheel was replaced with a floor lever which improves its usability and smoothness when shifting gears.

It starts at the first turn, with its original handle, and the engine is very, very quiet. It brakes properly and gently, and it drives in a very smooth and precise way. A car that arouses friendliness and admiring looks wherever it goes and that is a faithful reflection of the Dolce Vita, making it possible to imagine Marcello Mastroianni at the wheel. 

You can inspect the car in Madrid and the seller will provide the ASI certification, as well as many documents of works carried out over the last few years (see photos).
