Barn find! 1981 Triumph TR7 Convertible. This is a German import to the Netherlands. Now exported from the Netherlands again so with export documents. 

The Triumph has been standing still for several years but is presently roadworthy again. Equipped with a different battery and new rear brake cylinders to get it rolling again. The master clutch cylinder is equipped with new seals, the auxiliary cylinder is working, so the Tr7 is driving again. Of course, everything will need major maintenance. 

The 2L now runs smoothly again. This TR7 has a 2.0L with a 5-speed gearbox and the better Rover rear axle.

The bodywork is in fairly hard condition. Certainly a hard bottom and sills. But the spare wheel space is bad. Small rust holes all around, such as on the front and at the wheel arches, please see the photos. The boot lid was once repainted, the paint is cracked.

In terms of the interior, the dashboard, steering wheel, and the upholstery behind the seats are fine.  The door cards, carpets and seat upholstery need to be replaced. The TR also has the original alloy wheels. The convertible top is in neat condition except for the rear cover. A large part of the electricity works. 

The headlights open up nicely, only half of the rear lights work. Hazard lights work partially, etc. In short, a very nice yet affordable project which could do with some TLC. New old stock shock absorbers are already in the boot, as well as the missing rubber rim for the right headlight.
