Jaguar MK2 3.8 Automatic
This is the most beautiful edition of the MK2.

Recently this car was taken out of the shed, after having stood still for 8 years. We replaced the battery, the fuel and the SU fuel pump and the car immediately started. The engine runs perfectly.

After some cleaning the car looks very beautiful!


The car is ini neat condition and looks perfect at first sight.
The chrome looks neat as well.
Unfortunately, after 8 years of standing still, the car has acquired a number of stains, all rust spots have been photographed.

The buttom of the doors are all hard, except for the right front door. As photographed.

The car is not rusted through in any spot. It is not a rotten car.

The lacquer is 20 years old and neat, but not perfect.

Technically the Jaguar needs to be entirely checked before it can hit the road again.

Fortunately, it drives, brakes and changes gear. It is possible to make a test drive.

Liquids are all bright and clean. The car is well maintained. The last maintenance check was at 94836.

The bottom of the car requires a new tectyle treatment. Not rusted through anywhere.

It has a stainless steel exhaust, running from the front to the back. It also has power steering.

The interior of the Jaguar has been renewed 20 years ago. The entirely leather upholstery is in perfect condition.

The wood carving has also been renewed and still does not show any cracks. The photos speak for themselves.

All gauges and buttons work! So the revolution counter and the odometer as well.
The after-market radio has good reception and sound.

A beautiful Moto-Lita steering wheel.

The ceiling upholstery is original, but it needs to be replaced.


In the year 2000 the Jaguar came from America to the Netherlands. Then it was immediately completely restored. There are pictures available of that time.

The car was sold to the first Dutch owner at that time. He drove around with it until 2010. It was valued in 2000 for 82500 Guilders.

In 2010 the car was sold for €30,000 to the last owner. He drove with it for 4 years and then put it in his shed.

The Jaguar is a good basis for a total restoration or easy to refurbish and enjoy driving.

It can be viewed and picked up in Hollandscheveld, Drenthe.
