Still neat and original 500 SL from 1992.

1st type.

The car has had 3 owners, so untouched and in original condition, damage-free history (see Carfax report)

Comes from sunny California, so absolutely no rust on the car, no dryness cracks on the dashboard.
Still very clean under the bonnet and chassis beams.

The car has stood still for a long time, so it must be fully checked, small leaks from the engine and gearbox are to be expected.

The paint is in reasonable and original condition, expect some scratches, pits, dents and clear lacquer spots that are coming off, dent under the license plate (see photo) and a pit in the bonnet (see photo)

The air conditioning unit is blowing but will need to be filled and/or checked.

Comes with the original tools and all booklets including the original Mercedes radio.

The automatic soft top roof needs to be checked, now only opens manually (pump works, but does not build up enough pressure, hydraulic leakage)

A headlight windshield wiper is missing.
Plastic cover of the engine compartment is missing.

The oft top is in reasonable condition, unfortunately, the plastic windows are no longer in it.

The hardtop is included, this has some paint wear (see photo)

Never had any damage or problems, this car gets a Carfax score of no less than 73 points which is far above average, the SL is therefore a very good and beautiful basis for a complete restoration.
