This Golden Spirit is one of just 1,500 produced by Zimmer Motorcars Corporation between 1978 and 1988. The Golden Spirit was the brand's flagship model and was based on the chassis and powertrain of the Ford Mustang 5.0, with bespoke 'neo-classic' bodywork. The original price was 62,000 USD, which is roughly 160,000 USD today. The company was bought out and still sells new cars for about 180,000 USD. The car has been with the current owner for over three years and the odometer shows 40,182 miles. The car has a German registration, which is very important as it seems that you can no longer register this model if you import it new directly from the USA. This car already has a German registration with a H license plate. The paintwork is in good condition with some light scratches and stone chips. The chrome on the roof has some cracks and the rubber seals on the Zimmer emblems have come loose. The car had a minor accident during the seller's ownership where the bumper was bent and the right fender was slightly scratched. This was repaired at a specialist workshop. The interior is in good condition, in accordance with the amount of mileage, with normal signs of wear. The seat cushion on the driver's seat is worn out. In addition, the horn button is missing and there is a small stain in the glove compartment because a small paint pen leaked out.
