On offer is an early Volkswagen T1 window bus with indicator boxes from 1957. To be precise, on November 26th 1957 'Erwin' was born with its first approved owner. After a year, Erwin was sold to its last owner and was only used for transport to the weekly market. By the time it was deregistered in 1982 it had only covered 34,194 km.

From 1982 Erwin stood in a shed and matured', the end result can be seen in the pictures. Unfortunately, the ravages of time gnawed at Erwin's dwelling, therefore after 64 years and a long slumber Erwin would like a new loving owner. 

Technically, Erwin is still largely complete, the engine and transmission are in the vehicle and are original. 
The key is missing, as is the rear bumper. The grey-green/dark green paintwork with hand lining is probably not original. 
The cardboard letter, the techical monitoring agency report from 1981, deregistration from 1982 and a report from the inheritor is available and will be handed over.
