Jeep CJ-7 5000 V8.
Production year: 1978.
Registered in Italy in 1979.
Only one owner prior to the current one. Mechanics in very good condition, it can be driven daily, always used for weekends and car rallies.

Restoration started in February 2021 and completed in August 2021 

Serviced: steering wheel box, carburettor, brakes.

Replaced with new parts: steering column and bearings, shock absorbers, clutch, thermostat, electric petrol pump, alternator, belts, dashboard elements, side exhausts and new manifolds (the original exhaust and manifolds are also available), Edelbrock chrome plated filter and valve covers (original filter and valve covers available), front bumper in stainless steel,  wing mirrors hinges, chrome plated grille covers.

The bodywork was entirely taken apart, removed from the chassis, restored and repainted with the replacement of various sheets of metal (front side fenders, loading bed)

Original saddlery restored to new condition. New tires and wheel rims (original size). Original doors and hard top. 
 
No flaws apart from a small and negligible engine oil leak, which is normal for coeval engines

Registered as 2-seater truck (also in the ASI). Overhaul and inspection due in September 2023 

It can be viewed in Vigevano (Pavia), Italy
