1982 Land Rover 88 Series III County for restoration.

"County" sopecial series. Right hand drive unit made in England. It was brought to Spain decades ago, where it was sold to a resident in a small town in Sierra Nevada (Granada), and it remained for years in a warehouse. It is in completely original condition, without modifications.

It starts and runs normally.  There is a video on the vehicle available for those interested. If you want to see it, please ask Catawiki. It could be thoroughly restored, or the aesthetic part could be left as it is, showing the patina. 

Although it drives well (tested on small tours), it would need a mechanical and aesthetic tune-up. The engine, gearbox and reducer work, on a mechanical level it would only need a good tune-up. Regarding the bodywork, the pictures are the best description. It reads 28,292 miles, but as a 5 digits, the actual miles are unknown.

This Land Rover is rusted in numerous spots, some important ones on the underbody, although most of the bodywork is not in bad condition, as can be seen in the pictures, it has reasonable damage and scratches according to its age. It has small oil leaks in the underbody.

It lacks papers, but it does have a VIN plate and an old British number plate.  The County series was introduced in 1982, so that year of manufacture has been assumed, but it could be later.
