Unique, very original E9 BMW 3.0 CS, year of manufacture 1972. 

180 hp/255 N⋅m, with the BMW 6-in-line M30 engine with dual Zenith carburettors.

French registration - imported to Belgium (vignette E705)

Starts, brakes and drives well.
The engine rotates nicely, manual gearbox functions properly.

Technically in sound condition. It underwent major maintenance recently, including a new original new old stock fuel tank.

The interior is like new, the fabric is in very beautiful condition, no tears or frays, no annoying fading of the colour, wood without chips, dashboard without tears, instruments work, etc.

Largely in the original paint.

The bodywork can be restored in the familiar places (see the photos).

This mythical BMW Coupe edition with manual transmission which is becoming rare, is a perfect candidate for undergoing a 'survivor' or a 'nuts and bolts' restoration, whichever is preferred.

The E9, by the hand of well-known German designer Wilhelm Hofmeister, is rightly called one of the most beautiful sports coupés ever made and has now become a must for the collection of a collector with taste.
