VW Combi Split T1 from 1961

Volkswagen Combi Split T1 1300cc from 1961, excellent base for a restoration.
This is a 1961 T1 model (first US registration in 1962) 11 window original, truly "made in Germany" (not Brazilian made).
I bought and imported this VW Bus from California in March 2007 and subsequently stored it in a dry place on my property in Provence with the intention of fully restoring it after having had the necessary work done and thus being able to enjoy it in my future retirement.  
In the meantime, new projects have led me to put it up for sale.
The combi is duly registered in France as a "collection vehicle" with a capacity of eight.
The bodywork looks good in a particularly nice two-tone cream and aniseed green colour, with the usual traces of wear you would expect from a vehicle over 60 years old.  
The chassis and undercarriage are sound with only traces of surface rust, except for a small area at the rear of the right front wheel arch which shows rust holes (see photos).
This combi has a 12V electrical system.
It is fitted with a tilting sunroof over the rear doors, which is particularly popular for ease of access and increased headroom when camping, with the empty space between the front seats also making it easier to move around the vehicle.
This version is equipped with a 4 speed gearbox coupled with a 1300 CC 4 cylinder boxer engine, supplied by a single carburettor and has been refurbished after which the combi has been driven very little (note that the speedometer cable does not work)
The brakes were refurbished before the vehicle was taken to my property in Provence, where the vehicle is ready to be picked up.
