Volkswagen Beetle type 1 Karmann Cabriolet de 1970.

Versión USA con motor de 1500 cc. Original colour Yukon Yellow It comes from California. In the 1990s it was acquired by a Spanish scientist who was teaching at the University of California. On his return to Spain he brings the car with him on the move.

The car is classified as a historic vehicle in Spain. There is a folder with books, manuals, old maintenance invoices, etc. Bodywork in average condition, free of rust. The rust on the floors and in the battery compartment was repaired.

The body was repainted in the 1990s in red but its original colour is Yukon Yellow, which is still visible on several parts of the body. The interior is in very good original condition. The dashboard has several cracks. The bonnet is in poor condition and needs to be replaced.

A major overhaul and overhaul will take place in October-December 2022. Attached are invoices for more than 6.000€ of maintenance and restoration of the mechanical part, including: front and rear suspensions, complete new brakes, new Solex carburettor, wires, spark plugs, etc.

The five wheels have also been restored and five new Michelin Classic tyres have been fitted.  Up-to-date Spanish documentation as a historic vehicle. The car is delivered with valid MOT just obtained. In spite of its appearance, the car works very well and can be travelled in.
