A beautiful 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible.

First delivery was in the USA and the car was then imported into Europe. The car was last driven in Germany, where it currently has a TÜV (German MOT equivalent) valid until April 2024.

The car was extensively restored about three years ago; this included the separation of the car body from the frame. The bodywork has been repainted on the outside and on the underbody. All this work was carried out with great care. The frame has been sandblasted and professionally repainted in black, as well as the accompanying axle parts. All axle bushings and rubber elements have also been renewed. The interior is more or less in its original condition and in good condition for its age. 

Technology: The engine runs smoothly, and the exhaust produces a great V8 sound. The gearbox shifts gears well too, and the brakes also work perfectly.

Following the restoration, the car was also fitted with new wheel rims, which suit the car really well as they are in keeping with the style of the time that the car originates from. 
The rims and the radio are not original parts.

Defects: The left rear silencer has a crack covering a large area. The soft top could possibly be replaced as it is unsightly in two or three places. In addition, it occasionally does not close automatically. The tracking still needs to be adjusted as the original steering wheel has been replaced by a sportier one. Unfortunately, the mileage cannot be determined. 
Summary: The Oldsmobile is in a good all-round condition that could be made even better with minimal effort.
