Mercedes-Benz 230 SL 'Pagode'

This Mercedes Benz 230 SL 'Pagoda' is a refurbishment gem for the enthusiast. 

The colour is off-white with a black leather interior (the seats have been reupholstered in black leather) and updated carpet mats. 

The adventure of this Mercedes-Benz 230 SL started in France and drove around Paris for years. A sticker of this is still visible in the detail photos. From there, this Mercedes made the crossing to the USA. From the USA, the journey ended in the Netherlands. What will be the next destination?
 

The car is in need of restoration, has several signs of use.
 
Mechanical and cosmetic work are required to make this amazing unique car run really well again. 

It has a six-cylinder engine.
  The engine is original, matching numbers.

Over the years, the interior has been fitted with new carpets and comfortable black upholstered seats.
 The bodywork and paintwork need attention to fully restore it to its elegant white colour.
 

The pagoda soft-top cover is from 1981, this is unique.
 As visible in the picture, over the years, a hole has appeared at the top right side.
 

The car can be viewed or collected in Bruinisse, the Netherlands.
