This nice YELLOW Renault 4 Fourgonette is offered for sale.

The most famous variant of the R4 was the Fourgonnette: the R4 van. For many, this is the quintessential French 'boulangerie' car, and often this is also the car people think of when the Renault 4 is mentioned. The Fourgonnette was sold in two versions, the F4 and the F6, the latter being the largest. This was also sold as a combi with a two-person rear seat, which could be folded completely to create a flat loading floor. The van version was the best-selling van in its class for many years. It was sold in Europe until 1989, after which it was succeeded by the Renault Express which had been available for some time and was again based on the Renault 5.

This car is unique. No longer original since the car was completely restored in 2003, completely painted, and then equipped with a 1400cc r5 TS engine with 64hp with a matching 5-speed gearbox. Disc brakes at the front and larger drums at the rear. Originally the car had an 850cc engine and drum brakes.
We owned this car until 2008, then sold it and bought it back in May 2022.

After this purchase, all technical parts have been replaced, renewed, or improved: clutch, water pump, alternator, starter motor, battery, tires, Koni yellow shock absorber at the front and AVO dampers at the rear, the exhaust was changed to a stainless steel version, and the brakes have been renewed at the rear and cleaned and repaired at the front. The car is also equipped with 123 ignition and the cylinder head has been overhauled and adapted for new, more modern fuels.

The interior is equipped with very good driver ASS seats, black details in the interior. This makes for a nice contrast with the yellow body colour, the loading space is equipped with wooden slats. The interior is very neat and has no damage.

The exterior is a special appearance due to the bright yellow colour with light-alloy Alpine rims. Black grill, yellow H4 bulbs. Black bumpers and more black details make for a nice appearance of the car.

The car was restored in 2003. Has been properly used to this day, has some starting ncipient rust and minor damage. This car is very good for daily use, for advertising purposes, as a hobby, or as a mini food truck.

Due to the larger engine, heavier brakes and suspension, the car is very suitable for covering longer distances, events abroad, r4 trophy rides, and winter rallies.

The car can be viewed by appointment in Tynaarlo Drenthe, and can also be picked up there after the auction.
