This DeLorean was built in December 1981 in Ireland and shipped to America in 1982. The destination of the DeLorean was the DeLorean Cadillac garage in Lakewood Ohio.

This garage in Lakewood Ohio was set up (in 1967) by John's brother. Z. DeLorean (1925-2005), Charles DeLorean (1926-2016). Upon arrival in America, the car was registered and, on paper, has the year of manufacture 1982. 
The DeLorean was purchased June 16, 1983 in Ohio USA. 
Less than 10 years later, the owner put the DeLorean up for sale, with an odometer reading of less than 300 miles.

In 1993, the DeLorean arrived in the Netherlands and stood in the showroom in Tilburg at the garage of mister Van Veldhuizen. Mrs. W.L. Perfors bought the car in 1993 to add to her collection and expand her hobby.  She had the DeLorean inspected by the Dutch National Road Administration in October 1993 and was the second owner of the DeLorean with no less than 620 miles on the odometer.

The headliner/roof panels are present and need to be reupholstered. New upholstery is present.

Defects in the car are the air conditioning and the electric windows.

Small scratches and spots on the car can be seen in the photos, these, unfortunately, occurred over the past 41 years.
