Fiat - 500 L - 1969

FIAT 500L registered in 8 April, 1969. The vehicle has undergone the following mechanical interventions: - The engine head has been flattened by replacing the engine and gearbox supports; - Complete service carried out in January 2023 with oil change, petrol filter, oil filter, new battery and cleaning of the petrol tank, afterwards only driven for 10 km; - Brake installation completely redone: new drum jaws with soling, new rigid and flexible brake tubes with replacement of the 4 small drum cylinders and the master cylinder on the brake pedal, brake oil tank replacement, wheel bearing replacement. - Bracket replaced. The car is in running order, insured for any potential test driving on the road; only the regularly scheduled inspection is missing (not carried out as I'm not using the vehicle). The original colour of the vehicle is the "Rosso Corallo", code 102; it was varnished by old owner with this metallic sky blue which has since completely faded and deteriorated. The car presents the following problems on the bodywork: - Rust passing to the wheel arches, battery compartment and front (needs to be changed as it is a Fiat 500 R and not L). - The floors of the vehicle are intact on the front (where the seat rails slide) - The sheet metal below the back seat needs to be replaced as it has rust running through it. The vehicle is registered with ASI with the related CRS (historical relevance certificate), therefore you will not have to undergo the registration process as it's valid for life. The interiors are the original ones from the period, obviously they present some traces of wear but overall the seat upholstery is 90% intact, the door panels needs to be replaced and some internal plastic components need to be changed. Original documentation and plates, MC plate... white letters and numbers on black background. The vehicle is an excellent base for a complete restoration dedicated entirely to the bodywork. Can be viewed and collected in Mesagne (BR) following appointment with Catawiki.
