Volkswagen 1302 S Karmann Cabrio from 1971 in very good condition.

The car was restored in 2020, and since then it has hardly covered 3,000 kms. The paintwork is in a very good, high quality, smooth black colour with a coat of mirror finish lacquer. There are no scratches or dings.

The chassis is in very good condition, and both the plates and the longitudinal members are in good condition. The underbody was painted for protection when the car was restored.

The bumpers are new, made in Germany. The running boards and carpet are new. The interior is practically new, new panels, the carpet is in good condition and clean, with new carpets, the seats show no wear and tear.

The hood is the original and consists of 3 layers. The inner part and the insulation are in perfect condition but the outer part is beige cotton. It has wear and tear and some breakage due to rubbing, see photos.

The mechanical part works very well. The engine was overhauled in 2020 by changing many parts: carburettor, oil radiator, fuel pump... The fuel tank is new, as well as the fuel gauge. The brakes were replaced with new ones. The 4 rims are new, bought in 2020, as well as the Michelin collection tyres.

Overall, the car is to be enjoyed from the first moment and only the outside of the bonnet and the radio need attention.
